African-American Youth Exposed to More Alcohol Advertising Than Other Young People This archived press release from the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation reports a 2004 study conducted by the Center on Alcohol Marketing and Youth on the increased exposure to alcohol advertising to which African-American youth aged 12 to 20 are subjected. The article cites statistical dangers of alcohol consumption among African-Americans and efforts to encourage the alcohol industry to curb advertising.
